BigDayPress is an independent service run by Amit Patel. By using it, you agree to these terms. The public site is currently taking waitlist signups; the samples are fictional. Joining the waitlist is free and does not buy or reserve an edition.
What you get
When purchases open, creating and previewing an edition will be free. A $24 USD one-time purchase will unlock its shareable website edition and printable PDF. Printing, postage and physical newspapers are not included. Any applicable tax will be shown before payment. There is no subscription.
Your contributions
You keep your rights to your notes and photos. You give us permission to store, process, format and display them as needed to make and deliver your edition. Only upload material you have permission to use. Contributors do not need to pay or create an account.
Be considerate
Do not upload unlawful, abusive, deceptive or infringing material. Get permission for private stories and photos. Do not present an edition as a real news publication or use it to impersonate someone. We may remove harmful material or suspend misuse.
Check the draft
AI can invent details or get things wrong. You are responsible for reviewing names, facts, wording and permissions before publishing or printing. These papers are personal keepsakes, not factual reporting. Sample photos on the site are AI generated.
Sharing and availability
Anyone with a published edition’s link may be able to read or forward it. Keep a downloaded copy of your PDF: we do not promise permanent hosting or uninterrupted access. We will try to give reasonable notice of material service changes where practical. No specific generation or support turnaround is guaranteed.
Refunds
Not happy? We’ll refund your purchase if you contact us within 14 days of payment. Email hello@bigdaypress.com with the email used to pay. Your statutory consumer rights still apply.
Responsibility
We provide reasonable care in running the service, but cannot guarantee it will be error free or suitable for every purpose. To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect losses or problems caused by material you submit or share. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
